Glebe is a warm-hearted
community of faith known as “the country church in the city”. We have served
our neighbourhood in north Toronto since 1913.
Each Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
we welcome people for worship in the simple beauty of our sanctuary. Our
service includes good music, quiet prayer, and an open-minded, liberal-hearted
reading of the Bible. We seek a reasoned understanding of Christian faith which
is relevant both in our personal lives and in society.
Practical service in the
community is also a priority for us. As a church, we offer both hands-on
volunteer help and financial support in areas of need.
Glebe is part of the
Presbyterian Church in Canada, which traces its origins to the 16th
century Protestant Reformation in Geneva and Scotland.
